Nude Beach Resorts: 13 All-Inclusive Vacation Spots For 2024

There is something liberating about wandering around without clothing, as light and free as the day we were born. Nudity, or as it's often referred to these days, naturism, has a long history. More than 2,000 years ago, athletes in Greece would compete while in the buff, and even today, some Indian monks practice nudity as part of their faith. For some travelers on vacation, the idea of taking it all off represents a real escape, a literal shedding of the confines of daily life, and the experience can be rejuvenating and energizing.

Many properties around the globe welcome guests who feel the need to be freed from clothes, and some put on special events that help them let go and get wild. Based on our knowledge of all-inclusive resorts where clothes are just an unnecessary encumbrance and looking at travel blogs, we determined our selections. The properties on this list, many of them easy to reach via a short flight from the United States, allow travelers to shed their inhibitions along with their swimwear.

Hedonism II - Negril, Jamaica

Hedonism II has been referenced in shows like Workaholics, The Office and Tosh.0. It's gained notoriety for a few reasons; here's why.

This 280-key resort offers regular rooms and suites, as the latter includes a private terrace with a beach or jungle view, a hot tub, a TV and a Euro-style hot-tub shower or rain shower. Clothing is optional on the resort's "prude" side, and there is also a completely nude side of the property.

In total, there are five restaurants (all closed on Fridays), featuring Japanese Teppanyaki-style cuisines, Jamaican food, pasta, a buffet and classic grilled options. Hedonism II provides opportunities for water sports, too, giving guests the chance to embark on a catamaran cruise, go scuba diving, relax in a spa, enjoy a tour and drink at Harry's Wine Bar.

For more adventurous nights, check out the Romping Shop Playroom. Named after a popular Jamaican Dancehall song, the playroom is an opportunity to get intimate at Hedonism II. Couples and single women are welcomed, as single men are invite-only.

Temptation Resort - Cancun, Mexico

For couples only, Temptation Resort in Cancun, Mexico, is a 430-key "playground for grown-ups." In addition to six bars, seven restaurants, and a gourmet café, Temptation offers a "Quiet Pool" and a "Sexy Pool," a topless-optional beach area, and a nightclub with a rolling rotation of themed nights (like superheroes on Monday and lingerie on Wednesday).

Opt in for the Tower by Temptation experience. You'll get a swag bag, VIP check-in, and check-out, a room-service menu by Chef Adrian Peregrina, free adult-TV channels, access to an exclusive VIP sundeck area, free calls to the United States and Canada, and an invite to the SKY 3.5 Cocktail Party.

Also available are non-motorized water sports like kayaking (single or double), paddle-boarding, windsurfing, and hobie cats (lessons available for windsurfing and hobie cats). Expect bright colors throughout the rooms and public spaces, with curved, sensuous furnishings ubiquitous, all hallmarks of celebrated designer Karim Rashid.

Couples Tower Isle - Ocho Rios, Jamaica

You can choose from 10 different water sports (including hobie cat sailing, waterskiing and snorkeling) and a variety of island adventures (like glass-bottom boat tours, a trip to Margaritaville). Dance classes, movies on the beach, and piano-bar sing-alongs are also available. For the ultimate experience, book an Oasis Spa Villa — it comes with a grand sense of privacy, including its own pool and unlimited services in the resort spa.

Ranging from "food play" to erotic massages, there's an option for everyone. The resort is only open to couples, and even if they shy away from the themed events, there are many clothing-optional areas around the property where they can free themselves from the tyranny of fabric.

Hawksbill - Antigua

There's only one place on Antigua with a clothing-optional beach, and that's Hawksbill. Set on 37 acres, this 96-key, beachfront property houses four different types of rooms exclusively for adults. There's also the Great House, a three-bedroom, four-bathroom resort-style house that comes with a bar, a kitchenette, air conditioning and a wrap-around balcony.

This resort also offers tennis, table tennis, golf and horseback riding. For its non-motorized watersports selection, Hawksbill offers hobie cats, kayaks, sailboats, snorkeling, scuba diving and offshore fishing. The all-inclusive package includes buffet breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and your choices of a variety of alcohols, including beer, wine and liquor.

Go on a coffee tour, or partake in one of the many adventures offered (including zip-lining and white-water rafting). There are also plenty of volcanos for you to tour.

When you're done with your excursions, return to the hotel's spa, which offers a full menu of relaxing, deep-tissue, and hot-stone massages. If you're looking to take the nude factor to the extreme side of the spectrum, Hidden Beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico, is the destination you're looking for. All facilities, activities and even the dining areas can be enjoyed by the fully nude, but be sure to check out the resort's guidelines, too.

Couples San Souci - Ocho Rios, Jamaica

It takes a little under two hours by car to get from the international airport at Montego Bay to this coastal resort in Ocho Rios. Once there, guests will feel nature all around since the 150-suite property is appealingly positioned between the shimmering Caribbean Sea and verdant mountains. Facilities ensure that there is ample choice. Diners can pick from six restaurants that include Asian menus on the beach, a casual grill, and Caribbean flavors at Casanova.

There are also six bars, with the standout Balloon Piano Bar featuring a house band that belts out nightly tunes, seating that looks onto the pool, and fun art that celebrates the joyous pastime of hot-air ballooning. Couples San Souci offers wine-tasting evenings, a cabaret, and even a couples night on select days. For guests who want to ensure they don't get a tan line, Sunset Beach is the nude sunbathing spot with its own pool, jacuzzi, and grill. Visitors can expect all the usual activities, from fine diving and snorkeling spots in the Caribbean to kayaks and Hobie cats, a spa, a mineral grotto, and a mineral spring pool perfect for a soothing soak.

Popa Paradise Beach Resort - Punta Laurel, Panama

An archipelago in the northwest of Panama, Bocas del Toro is a gorgeous chain of islands, easily reached by plane from Panama City in less than an hour. It's a realm of striking beaches, mangroves, mountains, surf-primed waves, and vibrant reefs. Popa Paradise Beach Resort, where rates include all three meals, makes the most of the natural wonder. Guests will encounter green hills, a stretch of beach with soft sand, and towering trees.

The water is calm thanks to the reef just offshore, and snorkelers will likely see rays and small reef sharks. Popa Paradise Beach Resort is small, with only nine casitas, rooms in a lodge building, and a few suites. Ocean views come with many of them, though the casitas are the most interesting — free-standing small homes with sturdy wood furnishings and terraces that look out over the jungle or the water. While naturism isn't allowed throughout the property, guests can let it all hang out at the freshwater swimming pool and the private beach.

Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica - Runaway Bay, Jamaica

At the long stretch of beach at this property on the central north coast of Jamaica, green turtles make nests on the shore where they lay their eggs. Guests can enjoy the beach from the comfort of loungers, under umbrellas, or at the beachfront bar. For nudists, a special section of the beach is set aside for sunning in the buff. Visitors can take to the water for a leisurely, relaxing swim or on a kayak or jet ski. Those certified to dive might plunge below the surface during a scuba excursion.

All accommodations are spacious, with suites with four-poster beds and terraces. Some look onto the sea or feature a tub with massaging jets. Dining ranges from a few spots that offer a selection of international dishes to specialty boîtes that serve Italian, Japanese, grilled fare, and avant-garde cuisine. Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica is also family-friendly, with live shows geared toward guests of any age and a full-service spa.

Sandals Royal Caribbean - Montego Bay, Jamaica

This all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay has a small hidden realm that is easy to miss, an area of privacy and seclusion that features a clothing-optional beach. Known as the offshore island, it is, thankfully, easy to reach from this luxe property that draws many honeymooners — guests can reach the island from the resort by boat in a couple of minutes. In addition to the beach, the island features a pool with a swim-up bar, a Thai restaurant, and cabanas that feel like they have been lifted from a beach resort in Bali.

Some rooms at Sandals Royal Caribbean come with butler service, and for guests in search of a wow factor, the over-water villas are a slice of paradise (those at the end are arrayed in the shape of a heart). The experience at the resort is both local and international, with high tea and a recreation of a traditional British pub, Italian and Indian restaurants, alongside Caribbean eateries — there's a place to sample jerk food. At the Red Lane Spa, you can get treatments by the waterfront.

Couples Negril - Negril, Jamaica

Spreading across 18 acres of Jamaica's west coast, this adults-only resort has a beach where guests can go entirely au naturel without raising any eyebrows or flouting any conventions and where cameras are strictly banned. Elsewhere, travelers will find a handsome selection of bars and restaurants, two swimming pools, a full spa, and more than 230 rooms. Guests will lack for nothing, from 24-hour dining to premium drinks that never stop, water sports including scuba and pool volleyball, a catamaran cruise, tipples at a sunset bar, and golf and tennis.

There's also plenty of unbridled fun at Couples Negril, especially dancing. At the weekly beach bonfire on Monday nights, a musician belts out live tunes while dance classes teach guests the finesse required to move to soca, salsa, reggae, and more. Beyond the property, there are lots of things to do. Visitors can glimpse life in Jamaica through organized excursions, such as trips to craft markets or the chance to glide over the crystal shallows on a glass-bottom boat.

How we chose the all-inclusive nude beach resorts

There are several resorts around the world where travelers who like to bare it all can do so without any fear of getting in trouble with security or other guests. Some are set up like traditional hotels, where food, drink, and activities come with an extra charge. Those that feature in this story are all-inclusive, so guests can eschew the need to carry a purse or wallet or pore over a bill to check off every item. We pulled on our knowledge of all-inclusive resorts where wearing clothes is a matter of personal choice and also researched travel blogs to narrow down the selection. We excluded properties that have no problem with guests letting it all hang out but aren't all-inclusive.
