As the most well-traveled second grader in her class, Lindsey realized her passion for travel at a young age. Since then, she has gained a few years and experiences, eventually taking a full time position as a luxury travel consultant with Columbus Travel, a Virtuoso agency. Within her first year as a consultant, she was named to Travel Agent Magazine’s list of Top 30 Under 30 agents, an honor that recognizes the industry’s rising stars. Recently, she’s put her English degree from the University of Georgia to use by writing a monthly travel column for Southern Views Magazine.
As a luxury travel specialist, Lindsey is dedicated to planning truly unique vacations. She has put together detailed itineraries for couples seeking a romantic getaway in Thailand, student groups eager to explore the Google headquarters in Silicon Valley, families excited about their first European adventure together, and everywhere in between. No matter how large or small the trip, she goes above and beyond to make individuals feel comfortable and completely taken care of throughout their vacation, whether that means a personal greeting from the general manager or a “Happy Birthday” message on the scoreboard of a Major League Soccer game.
In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys “testing out the products” by traveling the world and researching destinations, all of which she writes about on her personal travel blog, In Transit. She also loves learning about the world as much as possible, which is why she’s a South Africa Fundi, Thailand Golden Agent, Certified Sandals Specialist, Fairmont Famous Agent, Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist, and Imperial Tours China Expert. Currently, she is working to become a Hawaii Specialist, Tahiti Tiare Agent, and Starwood Pro. She is also a certified host for Virtuoso’s Voyager Club and has previously hosted a group on the Seabourn Legend.
