Thanks to Sony, ISLANDS features editor Matthew Miller had the chance to try the HDR-UX20 High Definition DVD Handycam Camcorder on his recent island-hopping trip to Hawaii. He captured an abundance of high-def footage, easily storing it on the 8GB internal memory, the built-in DVD drive and the added Memory Stick. Picture, color and 15x zoom were all sharp, and the touch-screen navigation made it easy to switch modes and settings.
