When photographer Jen Judge captured this scene 40 minutes after sunset, this Caribbean spa was closed. But she still found something in which to indulge as she walked onto the cliff-perched patio. "It overlooks an infinity pool that plunges off the hillside into the Sir Francis Drake Channel," she says. "So even though the spa is not technically open for services after 8 p.m., I was allowed to go up there to photograph the view as the breeze blew through the palms." At 8 a.m., guests can again enjoy treatments that incorporate ingredients plucked from the island, including a goat's-milk-and-honey wrap or a natural neem facial (using a paste made from local neem trees and aloe plants). It just goes to show that the best time of day to spa is all day.
Jen Judge shot this image with a Canon EOS 5D fitted with a 24-70/2.8 lens. Shutter speed was 25 seconds at f/6.3 and ISO 400.
