Caribe Hilton, birthplace of the piña colada, is now known for yet another distinction: being the largest resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a total of 812 rooms. Paseo Caribe, a world-class development next to the hotel and the historic San Geronimo Fort, introduced the new luxurious Condado Lagoon Villas.

The first phase of the Condado Lagoon Villas was recently completed with 168 new units. The 1,560 sqaure foot villas feature a large master bedroom with a spectacular marble bathroom with both a shower and oversized bathtub, kitchen, dining room, and studio complete with a bedroom, one full bathroom and a kitchenette. Plus, all have a private balcony and a full array of luxurious amenities.

The resort also began renovations to its Tower rooms, with the first 78 offering Turkish marble bathrooms, new closets, new furniture and lamps. The second phase will include 32 rooms and 5 duplex suites. The third phase, including the final 122 rooms, will begin in September 2006 and be completed by December 2006.
