In April 2008, ISLANDS research editor Ashley Knaus visited the island of Providenciales (Provo) in the Turks & Caicos archipelago, just southeast of the Bahamas. With luxurious accommodations at the Grace Bay Club, she experienced all the island had to offer, from fresh cracked conch to snorkeling in the world's third largest coral reef system.
