Guess What's Next: November 2009
Can you identify this popular dream destination for travelers?

If you've ever made a list of the islands you dream of visiting, then chances are this idyllic group of atolls is close to the top. The string of small coral islands, like the one pictured here, is home to some of the bluest lagoons, whitest beaches and most luxurious resorts in the world. The picture-perfect desert-island appeal makes this spot
a popular dream destination for travelers of every sort, including the experts who named it one of the destinations on the new ISLANDS Wish List for 2010. Still, high as this chain may be on wish lists around the world, these islands lie low in every other sense. Hop across the 26 ring-shaped atoll formations that make up the island nation, and you'll never find yourself more than six feet above sea level.

You'll also seldom be in the midst of a crowd, since fewer than 200 of the 1,200 or so islands are inhabited by locals and even the slew of high-end resorts are housed on private islands. Never made a list of the islands you dream of visiting? This is a good place to start.

If you can name this island chain, which will be featured on the Wish List in the next issue, e-mail your answer in by Nov. 6. Readers who submit the correct answer will be entered to win a prize package courtesy of ISLANDS.
