Cuba's Scenic Train Ride, New Caribbean Flights and Seabirds Return to Alaskan Island
August 26th, 2009
You can’t be on every island at once – but you can feel like you are. Here are the latest links with useful information about island travel from around the world.
- All aboard! Take a journey on a relic from Cuba's sugar-farming past, the Hershey Train.

- New low-cost flights to the Caribbean could be on the way. Orlando-based AirTran has submitted applications with the Department of Transportation to begin flying to Nassau and Montego Bay by 2010.
- Hear that chirping? It could be a peregrine falcon if you're on Alaska's Rat Island. The birds are back thanks to a seabird restoration project undertaken by The Nature Conservancy.
