It’s called “Tough” because, though smaller than a wallet, it’s waterproof to 33 feet and shockproof if it slips out of the hands of the aforementioned 6-year-old and bounces across the patio.
Pros: It fits in the pocket of your shorts. It’s easy to figure out and has a viewfinder more than half the camera’s size. Images are 12-meg files. Five stars.
Cons: Heavier than you’d think. Does not run on AA batteries, so if it runs out of juice and you have no AC outlet nearby, the photo shoot is over.
Bottom Line: $379, olympusamerica.com
