The La Catalina Hotel and Suites is located 12 miles from San Jose International Airport and a few miles just outside the Capital city of San Jose. It is a majestic private, gated resort, located, on six lush acres inhabited by tropical flowers, trees, ponds, and other gracious amenities. The property is centrally located for all the sightseeing tours of Costa Rica, from volcanoes to white water rafting to exploring the Caribbean and Pacific Coasts. The nearby attractions include Paos Volcano, La Paz Waterfall, Canopy Tours and the Butterfly Farm. One can relax in tranquil settings of abundant gardens, ponds, and magnificent valley views from this private luxury resort property. After a day of sightseeing and taking in the sounds of Costa Rica, one can enjoy a cocktail beside the fireplace, in the private library and bar. One can relax on the veranda and take in the breathtaking views of the valley below. No pets are allowed. The resort amenities include public area Internet access, fitness facility, game room, tennis court, childrens activities, room service, and daily housekeeping. The one-bedroom, one-bath units hold a maximum of four people and utilize either one-king bed or one-queen bed, and one-sleeper sofa. The two bedroom, two-bath hold a maximum of six people and unit bedding includes one-queen bed, two single beds, and one sleeper sofa. The standard hotel room and the studio both hold a maximum of two people and offer one-queen bed. Cribs are available upon request. The room amenities include Internet access, free local calls, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, DVD/VCRs, and full kitchen (except standard hotel rooms).
