Overview

Radisson Our Lucaya offers a fresh Caribbean perspective with all the amenities, activities and hands-on service one expects. With more than $450 million invested in the development of the new resort, its Caribbean spirit has been revived with an edgy, playful attitude. And at Our Lucaya it's all about play -- whether you're here for romance, athletics or adventure.

Arriving Radisson Our Lucaya guests are greeted at a colonial-style Manor House. As you check in, your bags are whisked through a labyrinth of subterranean service corridors, and they magically appear in your suite. The staff is friendly and eager to take care of you. You may be taken aback by the seemingly endless list of activities to choose from, but no one said you had to do it all in one trip.

If golf is your game, this is the place. Two superb 18-hole courses -- each almost 7,000 yards -- are just a putt away from the beach. The Reef Course is a canvas of green that will tempt and challenge players, as well as the first all-new Bahamian course to open in three decades. The equally enthralling Lucayan Course opened in 1962 and remains a challenge even for scratch playes. The par 72 design is also home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf.

For fun away from the links, go no farther than the 7 1/2-acre white-sand beach that rims the resort. But chances are you won't be able to sit on the beach for long, as the clear turquoise waters beckon you with snorkeling, skiing, kayaking, diving, sailing and game-fishing charters, all readily available. You can even get up and close personal with dolphins in Sanctuary Bay. And, of course, you can also lounge by any of the four pools, each with a view of the ocean.

Landlubbers can go bird-watching, horseback riding and hiking. If you want to shop, explore the Port Lucaya Marketplace, which has more than 80 boutiques offering jewelry, native artwork and crafts.

Or perhaps you want the genuine hands-on treatment. The 25,000-square-foot tri-level Senses Spa will strip away your stress with massages and body wraps. Steam rooms, whirlpools, saunas, exercise facilities and a full-service beauty salon will relax your mind, mend your body and tend your spirit.

The property offers eight restaurants, each with its own distinct personality and cuisine. There are also four cafes, three bars and dancing until dawn at the Prop Club.

And don't forget junior. While Dad's playing the links and Mom is shopping, kids can play at Camp Lucaya, 3,000 square feet of pure fun. From infants through preteens, there's something here for every kid: crafts, Junkanoo parades, swimming and folklore sessions, kayaking, horses and snorkeling.
