Your vacation begins when you are met by our resort staff at the Belize International Airport and transfered to a small, comfortable aircraft for the 20 minute flight our own private airstrip at Blackbird Caye Resort (Saturday arrivals only; Wednesday transfers are made on our 50-foot boat).

Blackbird is nestled under lush coconut palms and sits atop the great Belize Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world. When you arrive, toss the shoes, dig your toes in the sand, meet our friendly staff and learn about what you can do during your stay.

There is something at Blackbird Caye Resort for everyone: scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and more. You can be as busy as you like, or slow down and read a book, or put in some serious hammock time under a coconut tree. Dive and snorkel sites are just minutes by boat from the resort, so you won't be spending precious time and energy just getting to and from the sites. On Tuesdays we'll dive and snorkel Belize's famed Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye.
