Drink Recipes: How to Make an El Diablo Cocktail

Golfers who have played the Tom Fazio-designed Corales course at Puntacana Resort & Club may be familiar with the name El Codo del Diablo, or “Devil’s Elbow” — the affectionate nickname for the final three holes on the track. To commemorate these diabolical finishing holes, mixologists at the resort have crafted a rum cocktail by the same name, bearing the same vibrant jade hue as the course it celebrates. Mix one up at home for a wicked good time.

El Diablo Drink Recipe

Serves 1

  • 1 oz white rum
  • 1 oz vodka
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • 1.5 oz Blue Curacao
  • 4 oz orange juice

Mix well in a shaker with ice. Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wedge. Need another great drink recipe?
