A True Taste of Malaysia ISLANDS contributing editor Christine Richard recently explored Penang (also spelled Pinang) for the magazine feature “Penang on Five Senses a Day.” On this Malaysian island near Thailand, she experienced the multi-ethnic flavors and cultures for which Penang is famous.
