VACATIONS

There are plenty of reasons to visit Tasmania, but the wildlife is number one. Some of the most amazing animals in the world make their home in the small Australian island state.
According to conservationist Bindi Irwin, the best place to spot animals is Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Irwin said, "It's so pristine here."
This park is known for its jagged peaks towering over rippling lakes and rain forests. It's home to Australia's most fascinating wildlife, like platypuses and Tasmanian devils.
Adorable wombats, hopping pademelons, wallabies, and tiny spotted quolls make this park their home. You might also get to see Bindi Irwin's favorite Australian animals: echidnas.
Hiking is a great way to see Australia's animals. Irwin stated, "The hikes here are utterly breathtaking and there are adorable native Aussie animals just waiting to say 'g'day'."
