Don't Forget To Check These Details Before Booking An AirBnb

Fees
The price per night you see on an Airbnb listing isn't the only thing you'll be paying. Brace yourself for taxes, cleaning fees, service fees, extra person fees, and pet fees.
Usually, these fees are included when you book, but some hosts may ask you to pay unmentioned fees outside of the platform. If this happens, report it to Airbnb.
Airbnb hosts can use misleading keywords, so Elliott Report compiled a handy list of red-flag description words that should make you think twice before booking.
"Cozy" often means cramped when used in Airbnb listings. "Classic" could mean that the furniture and appliances are outdated, and "private" may mean that it's hard to locate.
If you come across a listing that ticks all your boxes, check its location within the town or city. If it's smack dab in the middle of the chaos, good luck getting any sleep.
In another example, Natalie B. Compton wrote in The Washington Post that she booked a charming apartment in Paris that ended up above meat markets, making it very smelly.
