Follow This Time-Saving Trick To Speed Through US Customs

VACATIONS

Endless, barely moving lines for airport security, immigration, or customs can be incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, there's a way to avoid some of this: Mobile Passport Control.
Mobile Passport Control is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) initiative that enables travelers to speed through CBP's ports of entry when they return to the U.S.
While Mobile Passport Control is not quite as zippy as Global Entry, it's miles ahead of the regular customs lines, and it’s free. All you have to do is download an app.
Then, simply fill out a quick digital form upon arrival at the airport, and head to the Mobile Passport lane. If you’re with family, you can answer for up to 12 people at once.
The program is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian B1/B2 visitors, and travelers who are part of the returning Visa Waiver Program.
Mobile Passport Control is only at 51 locations, but the agency is working hard to expand it. When it is available, take advantage to make the airport experience easier.
