VACATIONS

The Flatiron Hike via the Siphon Draw Trail in the Superstition Mountains is one of Arizona's hidden gems. To get there, however, requires a long, hard climb.
This hike is only about 5.5 miles to the top and back out again. This trek might not be the longest hike you do this year, but it might just be the steepest.
You will be ascending nonstop, climbing up larger and larger rocks, navigating a slick rock basin, and hauling yourself up onto high boulders to continue going to the top.
Along the way, you'll see fascinating rocky landscapes, and when you reach the top, you'll be rewarded for your efforts with a view that reaches miles in every direction.
