How To Safely And Securely Pack Medicine For A Flight

VACATIONS
If you're bringing medication on a flight, you should be packing it in the original containers in your carry-on bag with the prescriptions and a possible doctor's note.
If you're making international travel plans, check with the embassy of the country you're traveling to and see if your medication is legal there and if you need documentation.
See your doctor about a month before you leave so you can get all the necessary documents and supply of medication or talk about alternative treatments if it isn't allowed.
Pack the medication in your carry-on bag in case your luggage gets lost. Always pack it in its original packaging with a legible label and have pictures of the prescription.
If you have medication in liquid form, it is exempt from the 311 liquid rule and you don't have to pack it in a clear plastic bag. However, you must present it to the TSA agent.
