Toiletries
Hotels often have other toiletries beyond the soaps that are in your room. Simply call or stop by the front desk, and a property can try to provide additional items.

Hair Tools
Some hotels offer free hair bands to guests. In addition, they can lend you hair straightening and curling tools and hair dryers to let your locks hang perfectly.
Body Pillows
Some hotels let guests tailor their combination of pillows. A body pillow helps align your spine when sleeping on your side.
To further enhance your sleep, check with the front desk about whether it can supply an eye mask, earplugs, or a white-noise machine, as some hotels do.
Room You Want
To get a room that best suits your needs, request the room you want at check-in. Increase your chances of getting it if you call shortly after making the reservation.
Laundry Bags
While laundry service usually has an extra fee, the free laundry bags in your room can also be used to keep your dirty duds separate from the clean ones.
However, cloth bags usually aren't free, so if there are no plastic laundry bags in your room closet, try calling the front desk, guest relations, or housekeeping department.
