New England's Only Beachside Amusement Park Is In This State

New England only has one beachfront amusement park — the Palace Playland in Maine. It's located in Old Orchard Beach, only 30 minutes away from Portland.
Palace Playland has been around for over a century. It takes up five acres, but the seaside park is home to 28 rides, many of which are ideal for daredevils and thrill seekers.
There are several classic carnival rides like a carousel, a fun house, bumper cars, and a Ferris wheel. There are also rides for kids and a massive arcade to explore.
Like other parks in New England, Palace Playland is only open for the summer. It is free to enter, but you need to purchase a rechargeable card to pay for rides.
