Re-Book A Canceled Flight Fast With This Tip From Samantha Brown

Few travel nightmares are worse than a flight cancellation. When this happens, instead of badgering the airline's customer service, travel guru Samantha Brown uses social media.
Brown says, "Airlines have pulled a lot of their customer service from their phone banks to social media [...] so you could receive a much faster response than if you call."
Brown even made a script for what to say in such situations. "Send them your confirmation code, saying 'My flight's been canceled. Can I get on the next flight?'"
In an interview with MarketWatch, Brown said that this trick has "always" done its magic for her. She stated, "I do that as I'm getting in (the customer-service) line."
