During an interview, world traveler Samantha Brown said, "Everyone's going to Ireland — the place is packed." However, she revealed a nearby alternative.
She said, "Northern Ireland still has room, and that's what I love. You can get everything that Ireland has already, but without the crowds, and it's a lot cheaper as well."
While Northern Ireland has captured the public's attention due to housing several filming locations featured in "Game of Thrones," the country has a storied history.
Brown highlighted Belfast, the country's capital, and suggested a Black Cab Tour to help visitors better understand the city's history and Northern Ireland's past.
