VACATIONS

While the Jersey Shore is one of the most famous beach destinations in the Northeast United States, Delaware's Dewey Beach is a fantastic, lesser-crowded alternative.
The area boasts many exciting outdoor activities during the day, such as parasailing, surfing, or simply enjoying the golden hour on the beach as the sunsets in the west.
Dewey Beach also has an incredibly inviting atmosphere at night. Despite its population of only 400, there's live music every night of the week during the high season.
Visitors can also explore bars in the evening on one walkable strip of the Coastal Highway or experience the town-sponsored movie night on the beach.
