In West Texas, Big Bend National Park offers some of the most incredible landscapes in the U.S. This gorgeous and remote park is 220 miles from Odessa and 42 miles from Terlingua.
The park is open all day, every day and is a whopping 800,000 acres. It boasts the Chisos Mountains, over 150 miles of hiking trails, the Chihuahuan Desert, and the Rio Grande.
Visitors can go on hikes and drives, kayak down the Rio Grande, see ancient rock art and volcanic formations, and camp under the night sky. They can also see different animals.
