The Best Way To Get TSA PreCheck For Free

VACATIONS

When going through TSA, you must strip off your shoes, belt, and jacket and cram your carry-on into an X-ray machine — unless you've made your life easier with TSA PreCheck.
TSA PreCheck allows members to breeze through security and navigate the airport with ease. A five-year membership costs $78, but the fee is reimbursable with the right credit card.
Various cards from Visa, Capital One, Chase, Citi, American Express, MasterCard, and more reimburse TSA PreCheck membership fees. You can find the full list on the TSA website.
You may be able to pay the fee with points from IHG One Rewards, Marriott Bonvoy, Orbitz Rewards Platinum, Southwest Airlines and United MileagePlus. It is also free for veterans.
