VACATIONS
Myrtle Beach is a popular family vacation spot, but if you want something quieter, beautiful, and spacious, check out Litchfield Beach. It has miles of open Atlantic beachfront.
The beach has playgrounds loaded with inlets, tidal pools, and calm waters. Litchfield is all about its botanical gardens and state parks but has accommodations and restaurants.
Brookgreen Gardens is a botanical garden, sculpture exhibition, and zoo all in one. Litchfield’s tourism appeal exists because of the history and beauty of the low country.
While it is much quieter than Myrtle Beach, there are still plenty of golf courses, tennis courts, shopping, and fine dining to enjoy. There's a lot to do in this town by the sea.
