This Underrated Florida State Park Has Amazing Wildlife

This stunning location on Florida's western coast is home to the underappreciated Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, where visitors can interact with wildlife.
There are trails for visitors to enjoy nature and see plenty of Floridian wildlife. Some of the animals include black bears, deer, alligators, and lots of birds and fish.
Plus there are boat tours, birding opportunities, geo-seeking, hiking, and picnicking to make a day of your visit to Homosassa Springs, or longer.
The park also serves as an important sanctuary for manatees, as they can no longer frolic in the ocean and are given another chance here for visitors to enjoy their shenanigans.
