VACATIONS
Along California's Central Coast is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It has been around for over 100 years, is the oldest amusement park in California, and features over 40 rides.
The Boardwalk's best-known and most popular ride is the Giant Dipper — a roller coaster built in 1924. It's an exhilarating ride with speeds up to 55 mph, and 180-degree turns.
The oldest ride still functioning is the Looff Carousel, designed by Charles I. D. Looff. Other iconic spots are the Cave Train, Neptune's Kingdom, and the Sky Glider.
