Visit This Hawaiian Beach For Incredible Snorkeling

On the east side of the Hawaiian island of Kauai sits Lydgate Beach Park. This beach has everything you need for the perfect snorkeling vacation spot.
Lydgate has two protected pools: one that little ones can snorkel in and one for more experienced swimmers. The location has lifeguards on duty, giving you peace of mind.
While snorkeling, you may see angelfish, tangs, pufferfish, yellowtail wrasse, moray eels, and sea turtles. This is also a great way to teach your kids about ocean safety.
The clear water is ideal for animal spotting, and the pool's barriers keep waves out. One visitor wrote on TripAdvisor, "I swam through at least two entire schools of fish."
More experienced swimmers can try water sports outside the protected area. The park also features the Kamalani Playground, the Lydgate Bike Path, and the Lydgate Campground.
