Why You Should Avoid Eating Scrambled Eggs On A Cruise Ship

VACATIONS
At the massive breakfast buffets on a cruise, you might want to take a bit of caution around the scrambled eggs since they are made from powdered eggs.
Cruise ships are often dealing with thousands of people and need enormous batches of scrambled eggs. The powdered version can be more easily stored, transported, and cooked.
In the process of rehydrating and cooking powdered eggs, they often end up wet, runny, and tasting off. They've also likely been sitting on the warmer for hours on end.
Instead, seek out actual eggs in cartons. These will often be in dishes that are freshly prepared, like omelets or any of the made-to-order options at the onboard restaurants.
