A sweet Irish whiskey drink to make for St. Patrick’s Day

As the old Irish saying goes, “There are two kinds of people in the world: the Irish, and those who wish they were.” If you happen to fall into the latter category, don’t worry — just mix up a few of these cocktails and you’ll be on the pig’s back in no time.

Wild Irish Rose Whiskey Drink Recipe

  • 2 oz. Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz. pomegranate grenadine, such as Employees Only
  • ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • Club soda or ginger ale, to top
  • Lemon for garnish

Add whiskey, grenadine and lemon juice to a martini shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain into a glass over ice. Top with a few splashes of soda water or ginger ale. Stir, and garnish with a lemon if desired.
