Start your morning off with sunrise and a complimentary Bloody Mary as the crew raises the sails to the sounds of Amazing Grace as we head for our next destination. Where island are we going to? That’s at the whim of the wind and Captain Sly!

Breakfast is typically served around 7:30am. But remember, you’re on vacation and this is island time, so relax and go with the flow! After breakfast, Captain Sly will tell us what island we’ve arrived at and the plans for the day. Immediately following the Captain’s talk is Jon’s photography lecture.

Then it’s time to head ashore. Some mornings it might be for an island tour where you’ll be able to photograph scenery and the locals, other mornings it might be for some beach time and snorkeling.

At lunchtime, we’ll head back to the ship to eat and on some islands, you’ll have the option of dining at a local restaurant on shore.

In the afternoon, we may swim off the side of the Mandalay or head to another island for more sightseeing and photography or some beach time. Jon and Lori will be available for one-on-one time to teach you about how to edit your digital images or provide image critique on photos you’ve taken during the trip.

Late afternoon, you’ll have some time to shower and clean up and somewhere around 5pm, it’s time for snacks and a complimentary Rum Swizzle.

After snacks and swizzle, join your shipmates in a game of Battle of the Sexes or a little friendly wagering on crab races.

Dinner typically starts between 7:30-8:30pm and includes a complimentary glass of wine.

Following dinner, relax with a drink by the bar or on the top deck. Some nights, Captain Sly may give a star gazing talk, other nights you may have the option to go ashore to a local pub. One night during the week is a very special masquerade night – the crew has a box of costumes available on the ship or feel free to bring your own!
