Amazon Prime Day 2018 is upon us. The retail giant’s summer version of Black Friday kicks off Monday, July 16 at 3 PM EST and lasts through Tuesday, July 17. We perused the sneak peak deals to find the offers that would appeal to frequent travelers. Although we won’t know specific discounts until the sale starts, there are a few ways to keep tabs on the bargains.
First, you have to be a prime member to get these deals. If you’re not a member, this would be a good time to sign up for a free trial. College students can save 50 percent on a Prime membership. If you can’t afford the annual $119 membership, you can always cancel after the 30-day period without penalty.
Next, you should download the Amazon app. Each day, you can get a sneak peek of the deals that will be offered. If you see something you want, you can turn on personalized notifications to find out when it goes on sale.
If you’d rather shop on your computer, you can install Amazon assistant to get desktop notifications on deals you watch, and save $5 on you Prime Day order of $25 or more.
Own an Echo smart speaker? Just ask Alexa what the Prime Day deals are.
