Leila Einhorn

• Leila's wanderlust has led her to more than 20 countries across four continents, often solo. Some of her favorite memories include couch surfing in Paris, temple hopping in Laos, and making lifelong connections over hostel breakfasts.
• She studied abroad in Ghana, traversing the country through homestays and completing independent fieldwork on maternal healthcare.
• Leila lived in Fort Collins, Colorado, for seven years, where she explored the state's majestic Front Range.

Experience

Leila has been a professional writer for nearly 15 years, with work spanning journalism, poetry, and digital marketing. From her earliest memories of narrating and illustrating picture books to her father to writing for hundreds of brands, Leila's love of storytelling has dictated the course of her life. She studied creative writing at Brandeis University before embarking on a career in communications, with a focus on nonprofits. Her work has appeared in a range of outlets, both in print and online, including entertainment journalism for Collider and theatre criticism for OnStage Colorado. In addition to writing, Leila loves to teach poetry workshops in her community and solo travel to off-the-beaten-path destinations. On any adventure, you're sure to find her with a notebook in hand.

Education

Leila has a bachelor's degree in English and creative writing from Brandeis University, with a specialization in poetry. She also received a postgraduate certificate in contemporary literature, culture, and theory from King's College London.
