Book European Vacations Now

If you've been putting off that long-awaited European escape in hopes that the economy would stabilize, now may be the perfect time to book your getaway, according to industry insiders at TravCorp USA. As many airlines prepare to cut seating capacity on international flights by 5 to 10 percent in early 2012, many carriers are offering huge savings on round-trip flights throughout the holiday season and into next summer.

In a related survey report just released by AAA, respondents expressed an increased desire to travel abroad in the near future, primarily due to the stifled demand in recent recent years. Many of those surveyed are said to be "tired of waiting for the U.S. economy to improve" and "have maintained a deep desire to travel throughout the economic downturn," according to Caribbean News Digital. To meet that demand, carriers are offering immediate and deep discounts to a variety of European hubs, including this year's Top 5 European Destinations (by AAA sales data): Rome, London, Dublin, Amsterdam and Paris. If you've been dreaming of a trip the Aran Islands or the islands of the Mediterranean, the time to book your air travel is now.
