Caribbean Food And Wine Festival Returns To Turks And Caicos In October

Grace Bay Resorts will curate the celebration of all things haute cuisine and cocktails.

Wine and food festivals are making a comeback across the Caribbean this fall and winter– everywhere from the golden sands of Grand Cayman to the Bahamas and St. Barth.

Turks and Caicos will also get in on the good eating action, too, as the Caribbean Food & Wine Festival, set for October 14-16, 2022, brings three days of feasting and festing to the "world's most beautiful beach" at Grace Bay.

Luxury resort developer Grace Bay Resorts is curating the event, with events scheduled at such dreamy island addresses as the Mediterranean-inspired cliffside resort, Rock House, and Grace Bay Club's celebrity-magnet outpost, Infiniti Bar & Restaurant

Wondering what to expect? Chefs, winemakers and tastemakers o'plenty, to start, followed by tasting events and delicious bites everywhere.

The event, considered one of the most star-studded and elite in the Caribbean, last took place in TCI in 2019. And among the celebrated culinary world names attending this fall's comeback shindig are Miami chef Niven Patel, who is preparing a multi-course Caribbean-Indian extravaganza at Infiniti Bar & Restaurant with wine pairings by John Legend's LVE Collection.

Master Distiller Brendan McCarron will tempt whisky fans to Rock House for a whisky and cigar tasting mixology session and the chance to sample the world's first carbon-neutral gin. You can buy separate tickets for the events that most tempt your palate.

And if you can't make it to these white sands washed with turquoise waters to join the fun, select events—including a seminar on food trends hosted at Point Grace by Meherwan Irani, the founder of the Brown in the South dinner series—will be live streamed. That means you can be in Turks and Caicos in spirit belly if not in body.
