5th Place Readers’ Choice Winner: Couples Resorts

Yes, we know you love kids. So do we. But when it's time to let a couple be a couple, this is one of the all-inclusives of choice — the name says it all. For its size this has to be one of the quietest all-inclusives around. Sunset cruises, beach butlers, unlimited golf, and excursions make it a complete adult experience.

4th Place Readers’ Choice Winner: Secrets Resorts & Spas

Another adult-focused all-inclusive cracks the top five, with locations in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and coastal Mexico. Secrets is for adults not in an R-rated sense, but because of the on-property indulgences: world-class spas, in-room whirlpools, gourmet restaurants, chic bars. Which tells us we probably had a lot of honeymooners casting votes.

3rd Place Readers’ Choice Winner: Iberostar Hotels & Resorts

Iberostar garnered votes from a wider audience since its all-inclusives offer a bridge between adult escapes and family vacations. One in Montego Bay, Jamaica, caters to grown-ups who want to play golf late and eat dinner really late. The one in Punta Cana (D.R.) has a giant pool and vast beach acreage to draw families.

2nd Place Readers’ Choice Winner: Beaches Caribbean Family Resorts

It says a lot about our voters that Beaches would rise to #2 on the all-inclusives poll. This place makes it very clear up front: Bring the entire family, be as loud as you want. The resorts in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos offer nature programs, kids camps, X-Box suites, DJ studios, waterparks, and off-site excursions. While the kids are occupied, Mom and Dad can sneak into an adult restaurant.

1st Place Readers’ Choice Winner: Sandals

This is not a surprising #1 call. Sandals has been the granddaddy of Caribbean all-inclusives for more than a generation. Swim-up suites, like these at their Jamaica resort, show commitment to the true experience of "escape." The swim-up concept also shows a "why not?" approach that launches Sandals to the top of your all-incs picks.
