After a morning of exploring Black Rock and Ka’anapali Beach, guests can retreat to the lagoon pool for rest and relaxation. Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

Fronting Maui’s sacred spot, Pu’u Keka’a (Black Rock), the fresh-from-a-major-reno Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa beckons for relaxed good times with unparalleled views.

The property, set on 23 spectacular oceanfront acres, emerged in January 2020 from a multi–phased makeover that transformed the lobby with a new lounge and reception area designed to welcome in the ocean air while offering one of the most incredible views in the region. Step outside onto the expansive lanai and viewing deck and get ready to gasp at your first look at Black Rock and Kāʻanapali Beach.

Whether for a babymoon, couples romance, or just your casual escape-from-the world jaunt, the property beckons with its Signature Moana Package, good for stays through Dec. 18, 2022,  which sets guests up in the hotel’s exclusive Moana Oceanfront Wing—an area slightly removed from the main building designed to bring on the aloha vibes with the best ocean views around.

Included in the package is a $100 daily resort credit, best put towards further inducing the relaxation for the mother-to-be or your special someone with treats like buzzless Maui-jitos (virgin Mojitos) and shaved ice (in more than 30 tropical flavors!) from the onsite Black Rock Shave Ice (or perhaps to defray a trip to the onsite spa).

We always encourage off-resort exploring wherever you travel, but it would be easy enough to spend your entire vacation here, between the absolutely epic views all around and tempting onsite restaurants like The Sandbar (hashtag pupuwithaview) and Cliff Dive Grill, overlooking Kāʻanapali Beach, where you can settle in for the nightly Lela Kawa cliff diving ritual with a backdrop of Maui’s most million-dollar views.
