In case it’s not obvious, there are a lot of Valentine’s Day travel deals to sort through this year. Everything from budget-friendly to the vacation of a lifetime, and yet we still have even more in between. The good news is that while some of these are strictly for the holiday, some are a little more flexible on travel dates, which means that couples can avoid the February 14 crowds and find dates that offer a little more privacy and seclusion.
But why I am rambling? The clock is ticking! These deals won’t last forever, so let’s get to it in rapid-fire fashion.
Divi and Tamarjin Aruba All Inclusives
The Deal: If you’re not tied to February 14 for a specific travel date and you’re looking to potentially go as big as possible, why not consider honeymooning at this popular Aruban all-inclusive? Heck, why not have the wedding and honeymoon here? Divi and Tamarjin Aruba All Inclusives invites couples to “Honeymoon on Your Terms” while enjoying a bevy of perks, from a discount at the exceptional Fusion restaurant to a free night when booking the first anniversary stay.
Bungalows Key Largo
The Deal: Bungalows Key Largo is many things—for starters, the first and only all-inclusive resort in the Keys and one of the coolest properties anywhere in the Sunshine State—but the best way to describe it is downright romantic. Thus, the romance package is about as perfect as it gets for a quick escape, as couples will stay in a Waterfront or Garden View Bungalow, snack on chocolate covered strawberries, sip sparkling wine, and absolutely love deciding which couples treatment to choose with their $200 spa credit.
Castle Hill Inn, Rhode Island
The Deal: Rhode Island doesn’t receive the same love as tropical destinations, which is a shame because this state is home to some of the best hotels and restaurants in the U.S. Take Castle Hill Inn, for example, which is putting culinary creativity and excellence at the center of its Valentine’s Day festivities. Couples who book a two-night stay at this historic Newport spot will settle in for an intimate six-course dinner that should make them consider this an annual retreat.
If the food doesn’t do it, the two 60-minute spa treatments at The Retreat at Castle Hill by Farmaesthetics will.
The Landings Resort and Spa, St. Lucia
The Deal: Few islands on this planet exude romance as much as St. Lucia, which excels at making every day feel like Valentine’s Day. But when it comes to the actual holiday, The Landings Resort and Spa is leaning into the destination’s rich history with chocolate to really put the sweet in sweethearts.
Among the many perks that will thrill couples at this resort are a private helicopter transfer, in-villa chocolate charcuterie board, daily chocolate cocktails for two, a tour to taste the island’s best chocolate treats, and the Chocolate Caribbean Woopie Spa Ritual for two, which showcases local cocoa nibs through a chocolate wrap and chocolate-mousse-infused exfoliant. Try not to drool too much.
Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, Miami Beach
The Deal: This Valentine’s Day, or really anytime you want to get away, the fun and stylish Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, is begging visitors: “Don’t Wine Alone.” After all, a curated bottle of wine and charcuterie board are best split between at least two people, so why not make it a romantic experience?
On top of those perks, the hotel offers a bevy of wonderful amenities, including the renovated poolside cabanas, K’alma Spa with its Cafecito Massage Surfcomber Signature treatment, and the great on-site dining options of High Tide Beach Bar & Grill and The Social Club. Oh, and let’s not forget the beautiful beach (top).
Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, Hawaii
The Deal: Love is in the air throughout February at this magnificent Hawaiian property that excels at offering guests the most creative, culturally influenced experiences for unforgettable vacations. And when it comes to romance, visitors should always expect the best. The “Together at Hualālai” package asks couples to dip into the “Only at Hualālai” concept and pick one of four epic activities as the cherry on top of their Valentine’s Day escape:
- Knife forging with celebrity craftsman Neil Kamimura
- Freediving intensive with Olympic athlete Kimi Werner
- Relaxing, sensory immersion and visit to a native ‘Iliahi forest
- Personalized golf experience on the PGA championship, oceanfront course
Wow. How does anyone even begin to choose just one? Fortunately, partners will be too distracted by the rest of the itinerary, which includes a moonlit dinner with custom menu and a private night buy-out of the Hualalai Spa.
Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino
The Deal: A lot of partners exchange jewelry on Valentine’s Day and that’s perfectly fine. But if that’s your go-to move, why not choose something a little more exclusive and infinitely personal? Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino has teamed with Little Europe Jewels and Time to allow couples to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Additionally, guests will enjoy a private sailing experience, couples massage at ZoiA Spa, access to the Regency Club, a three-course dinner at Ruinas del Mar, and so much more.
This five-night experience begins at $60,000.
Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas
The Deal: Valentine’s Day is a family affair at this beloved Nassau resort, as there will be activities for all ages and they won’t take away from the romance parents are seeking. At the heart of this Atlantis Paradise Island experience is a seven-course meal dubbed the “Night of Love and Wine Dinner” at The Clubhouse, but kids will feel pampered more than anyone with multiple events for making and enjoying sweet treats.
JW Marriott Tampa Water Street
The Deal: Sticking with the theme of couples being creative, this popular Tampa property always has something on the docket for romance, but this Valentine’s Day is all about how to “Make Your Love Permanent.” JW Marriott Tampa Water Street has teamed with Forever Dainty to allow couples the opportunity to create their own jewelry. And if a four-legged friend is tagging along, the “Puppy Love Phase” includes Yappy Hour.
The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas
The Deal: Couples that stay at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, any time of year might already know that a private catamaran excursion on the property’s Lady Lynsey II is always a great romantic idea. Needless to say, the Seven C’s experience is even better for Valentine’s Day, as partners can enjoy caviar, champagne, ceviche, cocktails, charcuterie, chocolate desserts, and the constellations. Feel free to swap any of those out for cuddling, but not cannonballs.
Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, Grand Cayman
The Deal: “Paradise Awaits” couples at the brand’s first luxury property and Caribbean hotel, and there’s even a new cocktail lounge, Library by the Sea, that is at the top of our list to visit this year. For romance, there are few better settings than Seven Mile Beach, but Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa always goes above and beyond in creating the perfect scene.
Inn on Fifth, Naples, Florida
The Deal: Couples are invited to “Fall in Love on Fifth” at this exceptional hotel in the beloved Florida beach town. The two-night romance package begins at $1,299 and is available through spring and includes a Club Level stay in a King Suite with verandahs that overlook the Avenue, bottle of champagne with rose petal turndown, romantic dinner for two on a private balcony or in the privacy of the suite, a couples massage at Spa on Fifth, and an engraved keepsake.
The Cove Eleuthera, Bahamas
The Deal: Valentine’s Day is a “Month of Love” at The Cove Eleuthera, where couples are invited to spend their time enjoying the “Rest and Radiance” package. This two-night experience is available through February 28 and includes champagne and strawberries on a floating sea lounge, a sunset cruise, and breakfast in bed, among other perks.
Jamaica Inn, Ocho Rios
The Deal: This family-owned hotel knows a thing or two about celebrating—Jamaica Inn turns 65 this year, after all. But when it comes to romance, the Celebration of Love experience will provide five unforgettable nights of luxurious privacy. Included are a massage for two, martini-making class, breakfast in bed, dinner at the Terrace Restaurant with a special greeting from the chef, and even a beach photoshoot on the same spot where Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller celebrated their honeymoon in 1957.
The Palms, Turks and Caicos
The Deal: Looking for something “Out of the Ordinary”? That’s what the team at The Palms is aiming for this Valentine’s Day, with a candlelight dinner under the stars, complete with a personal butler and custom menu from the resort’s chefs.
The Deal: Last-minute often means searching for the quickest trips, so don’t sacrifice luxury and tropical bliss because you’re in a rush. Instead, just head to Bermuda, a quick flight from the east coast, and home to Rosewood Bermuda, which is offering the Couple’s Escape package. Focused on wellness, this experience includes a 60-minute couples massage and 60-minute pedicure for two, followed by prix fixe dinner menus at Island Brassiere and Sul Verde.
Coco Bodu Hithi, Maldives
The Deal: If travel time isn’t a problem, then grab that special someone and book it to the Maldives. At Coco Bodu Hithi, romance and wellness go hand in hand, so partners can expect to feel their best with each other as they partake in activities like a 50-minute Coco fusion couples massage, facials, private sunset yoga session with the resort’s resident yogi, and a five-course dinner at Tsuki. The hardest part will be choosing which room or villa to book, but the Coco Residence is about as decadent as it gets.
