St. Martin's La Samanna Reopens With Decadent New Dining And Wellness Experiences

This extravagant Caribbean resort rolls out the red carpet with a variety of exciting events.

La Samanna, a Belmond Hotel, located on St Martin's Baie Longue beach, has reopened and ramped up guest experiences with new offerings in dining and wellness. For starters, what better way to welcome travelers back than with new holiday events?

Christmas at La Samanna promises to be a festive affair. Guests can enjoy complimentary Champagne cocktails and French canapés with live music on Christmas Eve followed by an elaborate Christmas Day brunch. A jolly old soul in a red suit is scheduled to arrive in spirit on a jet ski.

Additionally, the property's La Cave Wine Cellar, one of the largest private cellars in the Caribbean, will host international guest chefs and sommeliers for a series of special events.

The new La Cave Under the Stars series kicks off November 27-29, 2021, in partnership with Veuve Clicquot. There will be a selection of activities that guests can book including a champagne picnic and daily breakfasts with a Veuve Clicquot brunch bar. A tasting class, led by Veuve Clicquot expert and head of research and development Gaelle Goossens, is also available to guests. The event will culminate with a 5-course dinner with Champagne pairings, including La Grande Dame, one of the world's finest Grand Cru Champagne vintages. This exclusive dinner will be limited to just 20 guests. Cost is $195.00 per person.

Acclaimed New York City Chef David Waltuck will visit January 28-30, 2022. The four-time James Beard Award Winner and owner of famed restaurant Chanterelle will host a special event for resort guests.
