Amanyara Welcomes A Pair Of Fitness Icons For Boot Camp Action In Turks And Caicos

Trainer to the stars Erin Oprea and paddle board champion Candice Appleby will crank the wellness action to 11 for one week.

Be it mental or physical, wellness improvement is a huge goal for many travelers this year. Many Caribbean resorts have certainly taken notice, as properties are offering a more expansive list of safe, physically distanced activities like early morning beach yoga and Pilates, guided hikes and bike tours, and even personal trainer sessions. But if you're going to travel for some extra help, you might as well pick the place that is hosting some heavyweights.

Starting on May 19, guests at Amanyara in Turks and Caicos will have the opportunity to work out with and draw inspiration from a truly dynamic duo in the world of fitness and sports. For starters, celebrity trainer and military veteran Erin Oprea will host "High Energy" one-hour group bootcamps that will include the same techniques and motivational strategies she uses for her A-list clients like Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves.

At the same time, world champion paddleboarder Candice Appleby will share her extremely sought-after expertise in both group and private clinics, and there are also sessions for kids who are looking to follow in her wet footsteps. Appleby has been named Female SUP Athlete of the Year three times, won four gold medals at the ISA World Championships, and was the APP World Tour Champion in 2015. Shorter version: She's incredible.

In addition to the clinics, participating guests will also meet these all-stars in evening cocktail and Q&A sessions, as well as at the farewell dinner since this opportunity only runs through May 24. So, book quickly and sign up soon, before the clinics are all booked up.

This latest installment of the resort's "Legends" program will also benefit the Edward C. Gartland Youth Centre in Providenciales, with proceeds from the farewell dinner going to this non-profit for local children.
