The Cove's Summer Event Series Adds 'Sizzle' To Atlantis Paradise Island

With a big finale on the horizon, guests still have time to send the season out with a bang.

The Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island has always been known for style and tropical sophistication, but the vibes were cranked to 11 this past Memorial Day weekend with the launch of the Summer Event Series. With guests already aching to get back to their favorite resort experience, it was only fitting that many of them have the opportunity to let loose and celebrate with the help of "takeovers" hosted by iconic luxury spirits brands.

With only a trio of events planned for this series, anyone feeling left out of the action will have to keep their eyes peeled on the Atlantis website for the upcoming announcement regarding the grand finale. The Solstice at The Cove weekend celebration will be presented by Absolut Elyx—and that's all we know about it. But, judging by the previous events, it's going to be spectacular.

The series kicked off with Spritz at The Cove, named for the Perrier-Jouët champagne guests were served throughout the weekend. Among the highlights were an aquatic garden and local retail "trunk show," which featured brands like Bahari, Breitling, David Yurman, Escape at The Cove, Carlo Milano, and Kering. The cherry on top was a pool deck fashion show that included a live performance from superstar violinist Ezinma, all while Bahamian DJ and Cove regular Nyuszi maintained the party vibes.

On July 9, the second summer event kicked off, and the Sizzle at The Cove turned the 600-suite property into an oasis, thanks to the partnership with Bumbu Rum and Luc Belaire. Naturally, that meant creative cocktails were on the menu, as well as champagne mojitos, rum-infused cigars, and delicious Bahamian ice cream, among other decadent treats.

This event also featured a pop-up trunk show from brands like La Plage, Blue Moon, Colombian Emeralds International, Carlo Milano sunglasses, and the Plait Lady's handmade straw bags, so visitors were able to shop as much as they partied. And they certainly partied, as live entertainment and even an afternoon Junkanoo rush-out kept things lively and energetic.

So, what's in store for Solstice at The Cove? Only time will tell. But if the first two events are any indication, guests should expect an escalation of vibes and possibly the best party ever experienced at this luxurious resort.
