All-Inclusive Resorts In Fiji

An all-inclusive stay in Fiji doesn’t have to break the budget, but some spots rise above and are worthy of a splurge.

All-inclusive resorts in Fiji run the spectrum, from private island escapes for jetsetters that might cost double (or triple) your mortgage per night, to more affordable resorts with all-inclusive rates that wrap in all meals and many activities (and drinks are usually not included).

Romantic overwater bungalows may be at the top of your wish list, but there are plenty of options beyond those that allow you to jump in the water from your balcony. We've rounded up some of Fiji's best all-inclusive resorts to enjoy solo, as a couple, or with family and friends.

Naveria Heights Lodge

While bed and breakfast rates are available at this boutique resort on Savusavu, it's worth splashing out on the all-inclusive package at Naveria Heights Lodge. The property's location, just outside of the market town of Savusavu on Vanua Levu (Fiji's second largest island) is both easy to get to and blissfully out there.

Rooms are surrounded by tropical gardens and perfectly positioned to maximize sea breezes off the Koro Sea. Spend your time refreshing in the hotel's tree top plunge pool, swaying in a hammock or snorkeling amongst the colorful fish on the reef below the lodge. The various all-inclusive packages can be customized to include more than just your meals, too, with massages, daily tours and scuba diving among the things to do you can work-in to the all-in rates.

"This is one of my personal favorites," says Melissa Pomeroy of Fiji Vacations. "Sharon, the owner, lives on site and offers yoga and wonderful adventure activities in and around Savusavu."

Coconut Beach Resort

For an all-inclusive experience in an intimate setting in the magnificent Yasawa Islands, look no further than the small Coconut Beach Resort, with just eight bures for guests set on a former coconut plantation.

Rates for this Fiji resort include three daily meals prepared using freshly caught fish, free range local eggs and tropical fruit from nearby gardens. And among the many included activities that guests can enjoy are snorkeling, kayaking, guided, hiking and village visits.

Maqai Beach Eco Surf Resort

A veritable all-inclusive surfer's paradise awaits at this beautiful eco resort on the tiny island of Qamea—a hop, skip and a jump off the north coast of Taveuni. Beachfront bures with private decks and beds clad with mosquito nets make for a romantic stay with a keen sense of place.

"The accommodations are unique, safari tent-style right on the beach," says Melissa.

Post-surf sessions, guests gather at the communal Sand Bar, a hangout area with ping pong tables and an alfresco bar. All-inclusive rates include all meals and can be tailored for families, honeymooners, people who love to fish and those who just want to spend their time surfing their brains out with induced boat trips to the reef break. Snorkeling and kayak equipment are always included for guests to explore the fringing reef.

Toberua

The meal plans aren't mandatory at this private island resort off the east coast of Viti Levu in the Lomaiviti group of islands. But when you upgrade your stay to a package that includes all meals, Toberua becomes an all-inclusive resort with good value for money.

"The small private island is an iconic Fiji resort," says Melissa. "The bures are large and open and all are absolute beachfront."

Tons of included activities at the property—snorkeling, golf, sailing, kayaking and Fijian basket weaving, to name just a few—mean your stay can be as active or chilled out as you like. And extra-fee activities include fishing expeditions to the outer reef to cast a line out for marlin and mahi mahi.

There's a PADI dive center on site, and quality gear is included in all dive prices. And you can always just grab the free loaner snorkeling gear to kick out from the resort's lovely beach to explore the magnificent coral reefs offshore.

Navutu Stars Fiji Resort

Head to the northern tip of Yanggeta Island in the Yasawa chain by catamaran transfer or seaplane from Nadi for a boutique-style, all-inclusive vacation at Navutu Stars Fiji Resort, owned by a young Italian couple. The property stretches across three calm bays, with beachfront bures that overlooking a stretch of white sand and the sparkling lagoon.

When you upgrade to the property's full-board package that wraps in all meals, you're in for an all-inclusive vacation that includes two welcome massages, snorkeling gear and many activities, too, such as snorkeling, kayaking and village visits. And you can count on excellent food, too.

"The kitchen prepares handmade pasta and bread daily, and most of the produce is grown onsite," says Melissa. "They have wonderful cuisine that is a blend of local ingredients with Italian flair."

Barefoot Kuata

This all-inclusive eco-lodge at the gateway to the Yasawa Islands gives guests access to incredible beaches and a range of accommodation options that includes dormitories, family rooms and beachfront bures. With so many options for lodging in one resort, the guest mix is a good mashup of budget backpackers, intrepid families and international travelers.

All meals are induced in the rates, and the mandatory resort fees cover non-motorized water sport such as kayaking and snorkeling. Spend your days paddling a kayak to the nearby Phantom Rock Caves, snorkeling with reef sharks at the famous Moyia Reef or hiking in the surrounding jungle.

Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

Another favorite affordable all-inclusive resort in the Yasawa Islands, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort fronts a stunning white sand lagoon on Nacula Island. Families love the free (for kids three and up) kids' club, where the little ones stay entertained all day with hermit crab races, baking lessons and Fijian crafts.

That leaves plenty of time to enjoy the great scuba diving around the island, head out on a paddleboard or experience a kava ceremony.

Mantaray Island Resort

Will you arrive by catamaran or seaplane? The adventure to reach the Mantaray Island Resort in the Yasawa Islands starts before you even check in for your affordable all-inclusive stay. Rooms here offer something for every type of budget traveler, from those who are comfortable to bunk up in dorms to people who want to splurge on the more romantic setting of one of the beachfront bures.

White sand beaches line the island, and there's a huge range of included activities you can enjoy, from guided snorkeling tours on the fringing reefs and village visits to cooking lessons and Fijian crafts, when you might learn how to make coconut jewelry.

The highlight of a visit here comes from May to October—manta ray season—when you can head out on excursions to a channel near the resort where you may get lucky enough to snorkel with the gentle giants.

Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa

Yanuca Island along Viti Levu's Coral Coast is the setting for this sprawling resort with over 400 guest rooms that takes its inspiration from a traditional Fijian village. Packages that include all meals add up to an affordable all-inclusive experience, especially for families who are able to make use of the complimentary kids' club for children four and older.

Namale Resort & Spa

Here's the splurge on this list, and it's worth it for an all-inclusive vacation in Fiji that you'll be remember for a lifetime. Namale is a former coconut plantation-turned-luxury resort with just 19 gorgeous villas and bures set along a spectacular beach on Vanua Levu. Most of the accommodations have views of the Koro Sea and private plunge pools, when you want to refresh away from the beach.

All-inclusive rates cover all meals, snacks and alcohol as well as such activities as kayaking, horseback riding, motorized sports and access to the property's exquisite spa, with aromatherapy pools, waterfall massages and sauna.

Meals are gourmet and tie in tropical island ingredients and fresh fish. Plan a special one in a candlelit sea cave by the beach for a particularly memorable evening.
