- Jenna grew up in a small New Jersey town with one traffic light, igniting her restlessness and need to see every corner of the world.
- She has been to more than 40 countries and half of the U.S. (and counting, always) - not counting the airports.
- She'll eat pretty much anything but draws the line at melted cheese and bugs.
Experience
Jenna has been an award-winning journalist for a decade, having written about everything from street food in Taipei to the most haunted tunnels in the world in Edinburgh to boutique inns in Southampton. She founded her travel blog LifeAboardTheTravelingCircus.com in 2012, and her work has been published in various blogs, websites, and magazines. She joined the Static Media team as a freelance real estate writer in 2021 before joining Explore in 2023, and Islands most recently. As a travel expert, she loves to report on all different types of excursions, like the most comfortable ways to take long haul road trips across the U.S., and how best to check everything off your sightseeing bucket list while traveling abroad.
Education
Jenna has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Monmouth University, a small school just blocks away from the beaches of New Jersey, where she also earned minors in graphic design and law. She also studied abroad for one semester at Istituto Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy, earning credits in Italian, international law, pairing food with wine and Renaissance theory of love, among other subjects.
