Any good trip involves good food, and while Sam likes to travel by taste, soaking in as many experiences and as much rich history along the way is a priority. From domestic trips to travels to Mexico, Ireland, Greece, and Italy, Sam is ready to bring his love of travel and food together in every piece he writes.

Sam began his professional writing career in 2023 and currently covers the wide world of food for Static Media's food sites, including Mashed and The Daily Meal. His writing credentials also include work centered on television and movies for BamSmackPow, as well as contributions to local publications in his hometown of Madison, WI. Sam is also a creative writer, having written a fiction novel that he's working hard to get published.

Sam has a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
