  • Zoe got her start in travel writing while living in Chile, where she fell in love with the industry while working for an adventure travel tour operator.
  • She is particularly proud of a feature she wrote for National Geographic about how the Oregon Dunes were the original inspiration for Arrakis in Frank Herbert's Dune.
  • Some of her bucket-list travel experiences include exploring Antarctica and trekking to Everest Base Camp.

Experience

Zoe has been a travel writer for nearly a decade, during which time she's written for outlets like National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Vogue, and Conde Nast Traveler. Her work and love for travel have taken her all over the globe, from trekking along Japan's Michinoku Coastal Trail to dog sledding in the Swedish Arctic. She currently calls the Pacific Northwest home.

Education

Zoe has a bachelor's degree in theater and a minor in creative writing from Santa Fe University of Art and Design, where she graduated summa cum laude.
