Danno has spent his entire life living along the Texas Gulf Coast, which has provided him with infinite opportunities for fishing, boating, snorkeling, diving, paddling, camping, and various other outdoor activities. Additionally, he travels extensively in pursuit of outdoor recreational opportunities in remote locations. For over three decades, he has made a living as an outdoor and travel writer and photographer. His work has appeared in dozens of publications, such as American Fly Fishing, Salt Water Sportsman, TIDE, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and Fishing & Travel. As a writer for Islands, Danno enjoys writing about remote destinations, tropical getaways, historical excursions, and the very best places to fish.
Education
Danno holds a bachelor's degree in government and master's degree in history from the University of Texas, Brownsville.
