Experience

Kai has been writing since he was 13, when he began sharing adventure and travel stories on his personal blog. He went on to publish interviews and features in The Working Waterfront, highlighting the voices of lobstermen, musicians, and community leaders. As an intern with the Cliff Island Historical Society, he documented the island's history through interviews and research to help preserve the area's past. In his work here at Islands, Kai brings together his reporting experience and love of travel and adventure to create stories that connect and inspire readers.
