As an environmental precaution, campers aren't allowed to bring their own firewood. Instead, all firewood must be purchased and burned within the recreation area.

Restrooms and showers were very clean," one patron wrote in a Recreation.gov review. Another reviewer noted that finding a campground with all of these amenities is a needle-in-a-haystack find. Most reviewers also described the recreation site as quiet and peaceful, although one camper complained of late-night, noisy neighbors .
